The acronym ACCEPT, Inc. is derived from the Corporation's commitment to the Adolescent Community to provide Counseling, Education and Physical Training. Established in 1985, ACCEPT, Inc. is dedicated to providing comprehensive services to at-risk youths without regard to race, religion, creed, gender, ability, or financial status. All programs have shared a common mission: to empower a delinquent/at-risk youth to rejoin the community as a pro-social individual. ACCEPT, Inc.'s experience is that this power is gained through an awakened self-awareness of the youth's personal strengths. These strengths are recognized and nurtured by the "do as I do" staff accompanying the youth through an intensive experiential education program, while providing a safe environment in which the youth can discover and test these positive internal resources.
